Family of Heather Cousino, who has been missing for more than a year, thankful her remains have been found

Jamie Jones, lead investigator of the Albion-based Missing You Foundation, found the remains of Heather Cousino, the Albion Township woman who has been missing for more than a year.
The organization searched around Cousino’s home, near B Drive South and 25 1/2 Mile Road for three hours on Friday before finding her remains, Jones said.
He immediately called 911 and has been in contact with Cousino’s mother Diane.
“It was an emotional phone call for both of us,” Jones said.
Jones said Diane Cousino is thankful that her daughter was finally found.
“I’m glad for the family that they have closure now,” he said. “It’s a pretty emotional time right now.”
Jones said Diane Cousino is out of the state right now and the family is asking for privacy at this time.
